I'll admit it, at school I was obsessed with two things, my grandmother, and dating. And my work totally speaks to both.

I'd decided to go to grad school in the middle of my career, after years of working in a corporate environment. So I considered my time there as a sabbatical, and I created really personal projects. I wanted to either make my audience laugh or cry, maybe even both.
