I try to budget time to prototype in every project - in all forms including paper, html, and pdf. I use them to test designs, get buy-in, and discuss concepts.

Financial Institution
Tested three different "concepts" for IA and content organization.
Additionally tested different architectures for the global navigation.
A - Left Global & Local

Biotech Company
For this corporate redesign I needed to show how the site would operate (what linked to what, how the sections were related etc.) to a large number of different client and customer groups. I didn't even put a logo on the page to distract.

Large Information Enterprise
Early in the"strategy" phase I built this prototype which illustrated a number of new concepts and flows. Then the team used it during our interviews with actual customers.
